There was no need to use any other method, everything went well <3 I found a very good sidecar bed here: https://oukkidoukki.fi/paras-pinnasanky/

Thank you Beth for sharing the link. I thought nothing would help. I got this ebook and within a week it worked wonders. I was sure that I wouldn’t decide to have more kids, but I changed my mind because a child’s sleep doesn’t have to be a nightmare. Now I know it.

It is a pity that so few parents undertake to teach their children to sleep. I read a lot about it and found a lot of good opinions about a short guide ‘how to teach a baby to fall asleep alone’ (found it here https://www.parental-love.com) and I decided to try it. It was a bull’s-eye. I am well-rested and happy to be a mom and my daughter also benefits from it because I am more patient with her. Good luck everyone, it’s really worth it!

My parents strongly encouraged me to let her CIO for “as long as it takes.” Well, I simply could not stand to do that and have always been very responsive to my baby.
So thankful I did! It just seemed like the right thing in my gut. Exhausting, but the right thing for my baby. Everything in my physiology cried out for me to answer her when she was upset. So I did! No regrets!
