Could not disagree more with the TedTalk about what babies learn in their mothers’ wombs. I had the most varied and healthiest diet while I was pregnant with my first child, and he is my pickiest and worst eater. I had the worst cravings and diet with my third pregnancy (sugar, fruit, smoothies and cream of chicken and wild rice soup from Panera’s is all I wanted). And my third child loves vegetables and rarely wants fruit. In fact, she won’t eat most fruit. I’m not saying that children don’t learn anything while in the womb, but I think many people disregard the fact that a baby’s personality and temperament is already given to them while they are growing inside the womb. Yes, I believe a lot is established in the womb, but I don’t think a lot of it has to do with what the mother does or doesn’t do or how she feels or doesn’t feel. A lot is already established in the baby as God’s given design for that human life.

Is it just me, or is anyone else not able to get the audio to work on any of these? I had to go to YouTube to search for them and listen over there.
