Thank you for this! I had been trying to make shower steamers for a while but they always fell apart until I tried your recipe, which added castor oil, Epsom salt, and witch hazel to the ingredients I was already using. However I did notice that the scent is barely detectable. Would you recommend using more essential oil in that case? Or tweaking the ratios of all the ingredients?

You could try it, but castor oil has unique properties that work well in this recipe. Other oils don’t seem to have the same effect.
