You can, but it tastes better in food or cooking with it!

They used to use tallow. The recipe has changed a lot over the years! https://www.tasteofhome.com/article/heres-why-mcdonalds-fries-dont-taste-the-way-they-used-to/

Grass fed beef tallow contains beta carotene ; has a pinky color compared with industrial corn fed beef tallow what is greyish/white.
I do differnt creams, elixirs with tallow: marigold cream with few drops of lavender essential oil; yarrow cream; stingin nettle cream( for arthritis/joint imflamation together with stinging nettle tinkture taking orally) .
I’m a Christian missionary serving in Japan…

I mix it with avocado oil, rosehip oil, and frankincense essential oil. It still has a bit of a beefy smell but not that strong. It doesn’t bother me though.

I use the Toups & Co tallow balm, Frankincense tallow balm and am addicted to their lip balms! My favorite lip balms are the herbal mint and the vanilla almond. I don’t care for the tinted lip balms though. I used to use olive oil on my skin every morning and every night but I really love how the tallow feels on my skin and have used it ever since the first time I tried it. The first I used was called Crunchy Balm. I can’t remember what company but I really liked it. I switched because they had a hard time keeping it stocked. Toups has been my fave ever since!

I feel like my dark spots have faded considerably and it is so moisturizing. I wash my face with a cleansing gel made from tallow, shampoo bar and moisturizers.. My hair is super soft now!!
