Thanks! Although I feel like if I tried to smooth out the sand with a paint brush, I’d totally ruin all my hard work lol. As per your suggestions, I brought an icing spatula and melon baller with me to the beach. I also brought my mini metal shovel (26″ Black & Decker), a dough knife/bench scraper, and various buckets and sand scoopers. I wanted to bring some bigger buckets with the bottoms cut out like you suggested, but we didn’t have room.

I really enjoyed this post! I also read a few others of yours and they really helped me get organized for the beach. We go every year, but this was the 1st time my 11 year old got to bring a friend with us, so I wanted to make sure I was prepared for anything and everything!

That’s amazing and they are less than an hour from where we are stationed! This is on my FL Local bucket list now… After not really appreciating my first duty station until I had moved in, it’s been my goal to explore and enjoy my local surroundings to the max!
