Xtrema products are tested in certified third-party labs by trained scientific professionals. Xtrema consistently passes on all CA Prop 65 measures – for 15 years and running. To do this, there are well defined standards and methodologies for “leach testing” cookware. These high-quality tests accurately measure exposure to certain materials under everyday use.
Contrast that with testing done at home by those with no professional oversight or accountability – along with practices and equipment that ignore the normal use of products. For numerous reasons, this does not qualify as valid third-party testing. The device Tamara uses for testing is not an approved testing method to detect lead on cookware. You can always reach out to Xtrema for more information from their toxicology partners and testing!

What about the several findings of LEAD and other heavy metals in this cookware? Curious to why you would state that it is nontoxic! https://tamararubin.com/category/xtrema/

In one sentence it says steel wool can damage the pan and in the next section it says it can not damage the pan but marks can be removed.

I am in need of some new cookware and hope to take a look at ceramic!
