Hydroflask is based in Oregon and manufactured in China
Klean Kanteen is based in Chico and manufactured in China!

I am looking for a large water bottle for my husband and small for my kids. I use glass but I’m not as rough on things. It is very hard to find!

I am constantly finding mold trapped and having to go on a scavenger hunt to make sure I find and scrub it all out. This bothers me in general but especially when it comes to my daughter’s bottles. She has two stainless steel bottles and I just recently discovered where the mold is hiding in the cap. ?

I have two coffe cups andmyboyfriend and I have two huge almost gallon sized bottles for when we go to the range and it 90+ degrees and 90% humidity of NWFL it’s excellent at stay ice cold. The coffee cups keep my coconut oil coffee hot enough to enjoy until lunch time when made around 0600. They can be found at Walmart and are a fraction of the price. My daughter also has a small bottle for in class/lunch.

I have a question! How do you purchase your water avoiding the contact with plastic? And what type of drinking water is best ? Purified or spring water?

Everyone’s got them covered in stickers. My family has been using them for nearly 5 years now. Ice cold water for 24 hours if not longer & hot cocoa for the mountain days. Smoothies for beach days. They also had food thermos that are great too! Highly recommend this brand! Plus the lifetime warranty is a plus!
We also have an insulated 20oz Kleen Kanteen, it like the lid, but as far as insulation goes, Hydroflask outlasts it.
We got gifted the Takeya brand bottles too. They seem lighter in weight & also keep water cold overnight. But not a lifetime warranty like Hydroflask has.

My favorite water bottle/travel mugs are from Highwave. They keep my tea/coffee hot for up to 12 hrs. Sometimes I leave my water with ice in it in the car all day at work and when I come back to it it still has the ice in it! I highly recommend! Here are my two favorites:

Roam (tea/coffee): https://www.amazon.com/Highwave-JOEmoXL-Stainless-Steel-Travel/dp/B00115WFX8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=wellnessmama-20&linkId=b793216dcca0288eb144a748374a781f
Time Capsule (water/wine 😉 ): https://www.amazon.com/Highwave-Capsule-Vacuum-Bottle-Stainless/dp/B01GP3O312/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=wellnessmama-20&linkId=4a2786ec2e57b89100b31f6a9f2e22dc

Allan Madsen and others. I’m wondering if the previous manufacturer of Hydro-flask was very quality conscious, so they didn’t leak or rust. but maybe those now being made in China were made cutting corners and are now leaking, rusting, and no telling what else.

Roughly 3 months ago, my husband and I purchased Hydro Flasks. They do keep cold water cold, even here in the Arizona heat.

Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, I’ve been having more and more headaches, felt dizzy, started having severe pains in my finger joints and earaches. My allergist/immunologist says I have mutilple chemical sensitivities. This is new for me and I’m having to evaluate everything I’m using.

Being as the Hydro Flask was the only new addition to my routine, I feel it is somehow contributing to these ailments. I’ll be stopping use of the Hydro Flask and monitor if my symptoms get worse or go away.

It also concerns me that the stainless steel for these is made in China. Researching toxic cookware, those made with stainless steel from China are not recommended.

I took mine on our beach vacation, filled it with ice in the morning, and it was out in the HOT sun for 8+ hours and there was still ice in it a the end of the day, pretty impressive!
