I guess we could eat hemp seed hearts (the inner part after the dark outer skin is removed) and that way get not only the omegas you mention, but also a good load of protein.

I’ve been struggling with irregular periods for at least the last year. My OB suggested I take birth control which I reluctantly took for three months until I heard about vitex . I stop the birth-control took a month break and then started vitex, after three months my periods were regular. I read that it shouldn’t be a long term supplement to take so I stopped taking it to see if my period would continue to be regular. They slowly started to be further and further apart again so I Started vitex again. After a few months they are regular again . But now I really honed in on my diet supplement intake and overall health. I’ve been on the vitex off and on for a year. Should I continue to take it? Or should I continue with my strict diet and see if my hormones are back to normal? I feel I’ve And shedding extra The last six months and I’m not sure if that’s because I’ve gone on and off of the birth control and the vitex .

But, I would like to share my experience too as i am a PCOS patient so my periods were too imbalanced and was bit tensed about that. So, I search some clinic for my treatment and get to know about steady care medical. I took the appointment of a gynecologist. She helped me out by giving me the meal schedule which i have to follow. She also ask me to do either walk or exercise to keep my hormones balanced.

As a newcomer on this page, I love how detailed your articles are. They are extremely helpful, especially when you are new to the ‘balancing hormone game’. I just wanted to let you know that iPhone’s actually can change the color of the screen, so it’s more of a warm tone! If you go into display and brightness, a program is already installed and ready to go!

A key part of hormone balancing is the emotional component. Our thoughts create just as much hormone imbalance as our foods. For a moment, think about something that stresses you out. Notice your heartrate increase, your temperature rise, and your muscles tighten. Our thoughts are powerful hormone de-regulators. I see this with my fertility clients every day.

Katie do you know if it’s ok to take maca during breastfeeding?
I know it’s contraindicated during pregnancy, but can’t find any info on it for breastfeeding.

Try healing your gut with probiotics. Eliminate all sugar and carbs from your diet. This has helped other people I know with acne. Just understand that it is a long term fix, not an overnight one so it might take time. Do some research on healing your gut. Health begins in the intestines and it should also help to heal your acne.

I am a 25 yrs woman. I have severe acne and scars on my face since i was 15. I have tried everything but they just refuse to go. I stopped eating oily and spicy food, switched to natural beauty products… but all in vain. I went to several dermatologists, while taking meds, my acne seems to be in control but they appear again after I stop taking meds. Then I read somewhere that hormonal imbalance can be a reason for this. Please suggest something to treat it effectively?

My Testosterone is on the normal-high end, and my Progesterone is actually in the healthy-low mid range. I am blown away that low Estrogen is actually my problem at age 25. What would you suggest for me to get my Estrogen up? The bio Smoky Mountain Estrogen cream? Anything else? I have been snacking on flax seeds the past few days.
