Really love your post! It’s very useful. I agree that Magnesium is vital to our body. I also have taken Magnesium. Back to 2 years ago, I couldn’t sleep well and my nerve system disorder. My mom suggested me to try some magnesium. So, I started taking some Magnesium since then. I found that I can sleep better and my nerve system is also better. Mostly ignore such a supplement and benefits. Thank you very much for your sharing.

Using your links DOES take us to the exact same product you mention in your post, right? Thanks – I have loved your site for a long long time. I cannot afford many of the things you use daily, like the JUUVV light and the sauna, but I do almost all your DIY’s and am trying to add some of the supplements and such you recommend.
By the way – if I got the Original Door Hanger 2-Light JUUVV (NIR&FIR), would it do the same as either type sauna you mentioned if they have NIR&FIR? Both offer adding NIR & FIR, so if have both in one, can’t I opt for one in least expensive, BUT ALSO realistically efficient ease and time of use? I look forward to your answers. Thank you.
France

Is it better to use a hot water bottle? Does it matter? I am currently using a heating pad each night and am wondering if it would be healthier to use something that does not have electricity running through it. If you have any information, please let me know. If I need to switch, I want to do it now! Thanks so much for all your posts! They have made a huge difference in my life.

You might get a bit of sand (among other things) in your bottle is your use sea water. While you are certainly welcome to do that, the recipe will replicate the effect without the less than savory things that you would not want to use regularly.

Should I still make the spray with your ingredients or should I just fill a spray bottle up with ocean water. (I live in Oregon on the Pacific Ocean).

What can i do?

I am a little confused!
Wouldn’t we normally be advised to take a shower after being in the sea to wash off the salt water and yet you are suggesting spraying salt water after a shower, wouldn’t that dry your skin and hair out?

I’d definitely ask your parents before taking anything. I’m irish/french with naturally pale skin and have been able to darken a lot with those supplements. my kids are a lot younger than you, but I would personally have taken asthanaxin at your age. Definitely run it by your parents though!

So I had a few questions about your Eat Your Sunscreen post a while back, and I would ask you these in the comment section on that post but I find that typically when I comment on old posts I don’t get replies …

Here are my questions:

1. I would say I live pretty healthily currently (Regularly incorporate omega rich foods/coconut oil/chia seeds in my diet, using natural and organic hygiene products, limiting fatty/sugary treats to a few times a week or sometimes once a day) but I don’t think I could ever convert to eating as naturally and healthily as you do …

SO my ethnic background is at least 2/3 British and German (this IS relevant to my question haha) and I don’t burn extremely easily but more so than the majority of people I know. I’m not extremely pale, but I would like to have some more color, so I was wondering, if you take the supplements you mentioned (vitamin D3, vitamin C, etc.) can you still get good sun protection and be able to tan? Oh and I already have been taking fermented cod liver oil for a few weeks now.

2. Were you ever aware that you have some younger readers on here? (; I’m only 13 and discovered your blog a few months ago when I was beginning to convert to a healthier lifestyle because of my horribly acne-prone skin (unfortunately I’ve had bad acne since age 10) and since then have convinced a few friends and family to follow your posts also! 😀

ANYWAYS, my question was: since I am only 13, do you recommend I take astaxanthin? I read at the end that you don’t give this to your kids, and I was wondering if that was because it isn’t good for young children or if it isn’t good for anyone under the age of young adulthood? I realize I could probably google search this and easily find the answer but I trust your opinion more than any random internet child.

Please reply to this, it will mean a lot to me! Thank you!!

I do, but I definitely encourage everyone to check with a doc if pregnant or nursing…

I’ve been on a larger dose (12-15 mg a day) while nursing and have noticed no ill effects. Just curious.

And there certainly aren’t any “positive electrons” in your body. A positive electron would be a positron (antimatter).
