Can you elaborate on the blue light blocking glasses? Is there one pair that works for daytime and nighttime use or are the orange tinted ones better for nighttime only? I’m thinking for my husband who uses his laptop for work during the day, and then for occasional nighttime screen use. Thank you! There are just so many different kinds and options that it is overwhelming:)

Absolutely loved you for years…BUT now it’s all endorsements for 3rd party companies. It’s sad you’re steering away from your all natural recipes & intimate recipes for people who have followed you for years. Slowly becoming commercialized rather it’s natural or not it’s really the same. I’ve just spent 20min looking for a recipe that USED to take me 5min to find. Love ya just being honest

I am looking for a low EMF hair dryer. I called the Skin Research Institute about the one you recommended and they could not tell me if it was low EMF. How do you know it is low EMF?

I was going to ask about this as well…although the link for the percolator I clicked took me to a Hamilton Beach percolator (not Presto) – is that the same one you are referring to? Hi!!
Yes, the Corelle are nice non-toxic items to add to your collection, but I wanted to offer my experience…
I started with Corelle, and still use them for some things (they are my everyday bowls and plates, plus I heat some easy to boil or microwave (rarely) items). But, you cannot cook evenly in them ( sautee or fry, etc.)
I finally saved my pennies and went to the closest Le Creuset outlet shop and purchased two multi-use pot/pans, and they have been GREAT. I even use them to reheat things instead of using the microwave. I also purchased two ScanPans for non-stick cooking. I waited for a really good sale at Sur la Table for those. I hear the Xtrema that Katie links to above is an excellent choice as well! Good luck…I am always evolving as I learn about and save up for new safe and healthy items!! 🙂 🙂

In reply to Wellness Mama. Yes i agree I was leaning to the Chemex but my Husband has no patience to stand over and pour at 5am and the automatic pour over was $500 bucks. So that and the hot factor I lost that battle. SO back to decision process and I think Im going with the Stainless Steel french press. Thanks for your time. I appreciate your response and opinion. In reply to Elizabeth. I researched this and was never able to find a definitive answer, but did find that if there was aluminum it would be one small piece. Since most other coffee makers harbor mold and bacteria and have plastic of some kind, I still consider it the best automatic option I've found. A french press or Chemex would be better, but those don't keep coffee hot. Hope that helps :-)

Hello Katie thank you for great posts.
I have been shopping for a while on a non toxic coffee maker and can’t seem to find the best match. I see you have linked the Presto percolator a few times but I read many reviews on it and it seems there is a possible aluminum but in side that someone has mentioned possibly corroding? Not sure if you have researched it or not thought I would ask. Thank you for your work in helping take the time load off of readers shoulders. Happy Holidays
